Adiantum caudatum, the walking maidenhair fern, is native to South East Asia and grows by producing young plantlets on the end of mature fronds that root into the ground and grow to new plants. New growth has beautiful pink – red colouring and the long, arching fronds look spectacular in a hanging basket or plant stand.

Grows to around 40-60cm.
Likes good humidity and a consistently moist soil.
Quite bright, but indirect, light.
Well draining, rich in organic matter.
