Prayer plants are native to the tropical Americas so appreciate a warm, humid environment away from cold draughts, with those requirements met they are very easy plants to care for. Calathea orbifolia has large, elegant leaves and is a real eye catcher.

	Can grow up to 1m tall and wide.
	Water and mist enough to maintain a moderately moist soil and humid environment.
	Low – medium light levels avoiding direct sun.
	Prefers a soil that is well draining and rich in organic matter.
