Dischidia ‘Geri’

 

Family: Apocynaceae

 

Dischidia ‘Geri’ is an epiphytic, creeping succulent plant native to South East Asia where it grows in dense clumps on trees. It requires very little water so is a very easy plant to grow. Dischidia are known as ‘Ant Plants’ as in nature they provide habitat for ants.

Vine will grow continuously, up to 2m. Leaves 5cm.
Likes a drier soil and reasonable humidity.
Bright, indirect light. Avoid too much direct sun. Will tolerate low light.
Fast draining soil that does not hold water or grow mounted as an epiphyte.
