Family: Apocynaceae

Dischidia are tropical epiphytes found from South East Asia to North Australia. Dischidia platyphylla is an unusual creeping species that wraps itself around what it is growing on and shingles its way along. Dischidia are epiphytic and grow best in a coarse, free draining soil mix, or mounted as an epiphyte. They have similar care requirements to Hoya.
