The Crocodile Fern, Microsorum musifolium, is perhaps the easiest fern to grow as a house plant. Called the Crocodile fern for the reptilian patterns of the veins in the fronds, this exciting tropical fern is much less fussy about humidity than most ferns and will tolerate drying out more also.
Crocodile ferns are good for areas with lower light and will not tolerate direct sun at all.
