Nephrolepis cordifolia 'Duffii' | Lemon Button Fern

Nephrolepis cordifolia ‘Duffii’

Family: Nephrolepidaceae

The Lemon Button Fern is named so as it has a subtle lemon scent when the leaves are rubbed. Other common names include; Pygmy Sword Fern, Button Sword Fern, Boston Button Fern…

Native to the tropical Americas Nephrolepsis ‘Duffii’ has tiny, rounded leaflets that grow alternately along the fronds. A popular fern for terrariums and vivariums as it is relatively small and easy to care for. While the Lemon Button Fern will grow better with an above average humidity it can be more tolerant of dryer, indoor conditions than a lot of ferns grown as house plants.
