Tillandsia butzii is an air plant species native to Central America. This Tillandsia species has interesting purple speckled patterns on it making it an attractive species of interest. Tillandsia butzii has a bulbous base with curly, wispy leaves and flowers a crimson or blue colour.
Tillandsia butzii is suitable for both a humid environment and an arid enclosure as it is a xeric species so requires very little water.
