Tillandsia funckiana is a red flowering air plant that eventually grows to form large, full clusters. Native to north-western Venezuela, where it grows on trees and dry rocks between 400 and 1500m altitude. Tillandsia funckiana is a caulescent air plant, the leaves grow from a continuous stem. It is and easy species of air plant to grow appreciating good light and watering about once a week.
