Vriesea saundersii is a tropical bromeliad endemic to Brazil. It is a blue – grey colour with purple dots that are denser on the underside. This vriesea grows well as a house plant or is also well suited to a terrarium when smaller as it is a rather slow growing species.

 | Bromeliads should have a small amount of water in the tank and between leaves. Soil does not need to be wet but should not be allowed to dry out. |
